  • Delegates only where you are attending in a professional capacity, e.g. business-related events, where it is expected that attendees will have access to a list of attendees and their organisation (defined below)
  • If there is a duty to do so or if the law allows it to do so

We currently use a number of platforms for marketing. If you have subscribed to our news and events newsletter or attended/supported an event ran by GB Intelligence Ltd in any capacity, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be processed in accordance with their respective privacy policy. DELEGATE BOOKING

Applies between the Delegate and GB Intelligence Ltd. This section of the privacy policy applies to our use of any and all Data collected by us or provided by you in relation to your application and attendance of such event.

Data Collected

GB Intelligence Ltd collects Personal Data from a Delegate which consists of but is not limited to the following:

  • Full name
  • Position
  • Company
  • Email address
  • Contact number and Office number
  • Industry you work in
  • Areas of interest - challenges and planned projects

When you apply to be a GB Intelligence Ltd Delegate you MUST consent to us collecting and storing your personal information. You will not be able to complete your registration process for a GB Intelligence Ltd and/or Global Business Intelligence LLC event without consenting to us storing your personal data.

Personal data is obtained by GB Intelligence Ltd when you complete one of our booking forms. Personal data is also obtained through your use of our websites or when you access links in our marketing emails. We will only collect personal data relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is being processed.

We will collect and share a connected attendee post event list of personal data - this will be personal data of those who you have met with to allow contact post event. Information shared includes:

  • Full name
  • Position
  • Company
  • Email address

We will not share information which is totally private under no circumstances, this includes personal data such as mobile or personal contact number.

GB Intelligence Ltd requires the personal data we collect to be accurate, to ensure the provision of the best possible service including, but not limited to, the matchmaking process of Delegates to suitable Solution Partners.

Please contact us if you believe the personal data held by us to be incorrect. We will erase or rectify the personal data upon receipt of the up to date personal data. We will also update any third parties that we may have transferred or shared your personal data with. GB Intelligence Ltd does not take any responsibility for incorrect personal data being submitted by a Delegate.

Use of Personal Data

The processing of any or all of the above data is necessary for our legitimate interests. We need this information in order to provide you with the best possible service and experience. Specifically, data may be used by us for the following reasons:

  • Finalising event logistics, including accommodation requirements
  • Access suitability of Delegates for the specific event
  • Match Delegates and Solution Partners according to solution needs and availability
  • Understanding the interests and requirements of Delegates
  • Internal record keeping
  • Improvement of our products/services

If you register to attend an event, we will only collect the information necessary to fulfil your booking, which may include the display of your company logo on event related materials.

We will only use the personal data supplied by your for the purposes of administering our events. In certain circumstances we may transfer/share your information to our sponsoring companies in connection with an event that you are attending. In these circumstances the personal data made available will be limited to the necessary information required for the event and will be supplied strictly on condition it is only used for that purpose.

We may also use your personal data to evaluate what our customers and potential customers are most interested in.

GB Intelligence Ltd may contact you for market research purposes which may be done using email or telephone. Personal data for the purposes of market research may be used in the following methods:

  • Contacting you to inform you of any future events or opportunities which we believe may be of interest to you

For this reason, your consent includes explicit consent to retain your personal details for an indefinite period until you confirm that you wish us to delete your records from our database or refrain from further contact.

We value our relationship with you and by requesting information, or registering to attend an event, you agree that the personal data provided may be used for events as set out above. If you do not consent to GB Intelligence Ltd using your personal data for these purposes or storing your personal data, please do not apply for any offer available within our website.

We will collect data, which includes but is not limited to the following, from you:

  • Full Name
  • Company information & Industry
  • Job title & function
  • Contact information such as email addresses and telephone numbers
  • Social media profiles
  • Areas of expertise
  • Solution information, including cost matrices

When you apply to be a GB Intelligence Ltd event Solution Partner you MUST consent to us collecting and storing your personal information. You will not be able to complete your registration process without consenting to us storing your personal data.

Personal Data is obtained by GB Intelligence Ltd for the Solution Partner specified contact, as well as any additional employees who may represent the Solution Partner at the event.

We will only collect personal data relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is processed.

GB Intelligence Ltd requires personal data to be accurate, to ensure the provision of the best possible service including, but not limited to, the matching of Delegates to suitable Solution Partners and the allocation of overnight accommodation. Please contact GB Intelligence Ltd using the contact details provided via the Website, if you believe the personal data held to be incorrect. We will erase or rectify the personal data without delay, upon receipt of the up to date personal data, we will also endeavour to update any third parties it may have transferred your personal data to. GB Intelligence Ltd does not take any responsibility for incorrect personal data being submitted by a Delegate.
